I didn't take pictures this weekend but luckily Nic did! check them out at http://picasaweb.google.com/nicolai.lindholm/AiesecNationalConference06 take care and be good -Malou 31 October Birthday partyhi guys! thanx for making saturday such an awesome party! check out the pictures... -malou 12 October Free smshi people! join wadja.com then we can text each other for free, anywhere in the world! the texts are pretty short but they're working on that :) hope verybody is doing great and enjoying life :) -malou 10 July wicked weekendhi everybody, hope everyone is enjoying summer, i know i am! i posted some new photos from this weekend's aiesec event, Wicked Weekend... so much fun. take care all -malou 25 June mathias has graduated!!!hi all! just wanted to tell you all that my brother has now officially graduated from gymnasiet (high school)!! i'm so proud of him and can't wait to celebrate at his party tonight! for those of you wondering about the weird hats and decorated trucks in the photos, it's all danish tradition... you get the hat after your last exam and wear it everywhere for a couple of weeks signaling to everyone that they should congratulate you, and also makes it perfectly acceptable to be drunk in public :) after the graduation ceremony you drive round to everyone's house in the decorated trucks, it's a very long day since there's around 30 people in one class... this day consists of eating and drinking and meeting everyone's families (see photo album: mathi i vogn), such an awesome day filled with traditions such as screaming your head off, running a lap around a big square in Copenhagen while singing and many many other things.... it was so awesome seeing Mathi so happy and care-free after all his "hard" work during exams :) hehe... anyway hope this makes sense to all the non-danes out there. tonight is Mathias' official party at my parents' and i can't wait to boogie down woooohooooo! will take heaps of pictures and put them up tomorrow... that's all for now, good bye my possums... :) 21 June summer's here!!finally done with exams!! time to live, love and just plain have some good old fashion fun! my best summer wishes to everyone! i love you all! wooohooo! 18 May BA thesis finally done!!aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh we're handing in our thesis today! thank god! so glad it's over... now just a couple more exams and then the freedom of summer! so good.... anyway take care everyone! 17 March words to live by...hello everyone. well, it's been a while so i thought i was time for a little update. Finally, it's starting to get a little warmer in the kingdom of denmark, that sun is actually shining at the moment and i have stopped wearing left over clothes from an expiditon to the north pole! spring is slowly on it's way and with it comes the angst of pending exams... this is the final year of my bacholar degree so i might actually have to put some effort into it this time. actually me and my friend malene are quite on top of things (believe it or not) with or BA project so things look fairly positive. don't worry that will all change soon enough, when we actually have to start writing something haha.
It was malene's birthday on tuesday so naturally we had a party, although malene is quite traumatised by turning 24, thank god that's still a long way off for me :) we had an awesome night celebrating her, great food by our master chef and heaps of drinks! i suspect someone put alcohol in mine, cause i keep having flash backs of singing kareoke, mind you there was no kareoke machine, and sunday was vigourously spent on my couch.. all in all a great night with my homies haha!
about a month ago I went to holland to visit Mimmi and Martien, and also my dad who lives there.. Mimmi and I had a tearjerking reunion in a café in Utrecht making all the dutch people stair at us. it was great to see martien as well, but it had only been a month since i saw him last time in melbourne, so that was a little less emotional, especially since the first time i saw him in holland was when he woke me up at 8 in the morning after me and mimmi's big night out. Martien: Hi Malou! Malou: Go away Martien! ahahahah we had an awesome time exploring Utrecht and we also went to Eindthoven to vist my friend Erik who I hadn't seen in a year since he was on exchange in copenhagen. we went out in Eindthoven, they have a whole street filled with bars so how could we not have fun. i also got to see the village where martien grew up and meet his parents, very cool! we all went out to dinner for my dad's birhtday, we had a blast and i think my parents have adopted mimmi and martien!
anyway, that's about it from sunny copenhagen. i'm going to holland again at easter, so stay tuned....

07 February hi yallhey everyone... back in school now :( actually it's okay, it's my last semester on my BA and i've got some pretty cool electives this semester.. it's been awesome seeing everyone again and getting back to normal life although i must admit i do miss the sunshine and funness of sunny australia!! anyway, next wednesday i'm going to holland to visit mimmi and martien, can't wait it's gonna be soooo much fun! they sent me some pictures of their new flat, that i put out for everyone to enjoy.... pretty eh? anyway take care everyone and make sure to love eachother a lot!! bye-eeeee |
